Still, I think it's worth experimenting with.Īnd you hit the nail on the head regarding monster PROT.

Still, I don't want the heavies to have to rely on their buffs to give them PROT bonuses as the only means of having PROT scores appreciably higher than the lighter armored heroes, so it is a bit of a conundrum, I agree. I do agree, and I am currently testing this rate of PROT right now to see whether it unbalances things too much. Of course some monsters currently also have quite the amount of PROT on level 5s, so it might not be as unbalanced as I'm picturing as long as they either capped the ability to self stack PROT or nerf some enemy PROT levels. I'd say that rate of increase is a little too high for the high armored units as they are now, mostly because most have self PROT units that can stack, leaving those characters at later levels with what could be considered a rather ridiculous PROT percentage on top of lots of health. Light armor classes would start with 0 Prot, and would only progress at the rate of 2% at level 2 and 4, and 3% at level 3 and 5, for a total of 10% at level 5.ĭoes that seem reasonable, or is that too low? Too high? What do you think? Medium armor would get something like PROT 10% at level 1, and would progress at 2% at level 2 and 4, and 3% at level 3 and 5, until PROT 20% at level 5. My thoughts were that the heavy armor types would get, say, PROT 10% at level 1, and that would increase at a rate of 5% until 30% at level 5.

Originally posted by DelightfullyMAD:My thoughts too, though I would say that all classes should get it, but the obviouslly heavy armor classes should get a substantially better boost.
